Daikin EWSA Altherma 3 WS
Daikin provides apartment buildings with sustainable and high
energy performance heating equipment. Our combined Applied
and Residential Heating products offer an integrated system that
easily overcomes the practical concerns of both existing and new
build apartment developments of all scales.
The Residential EWSA water-to-water heat pump is located within each apartment to efficiently
and quietly heat, cool and provide domestic hot water. The EWSA units are connected to a water
loop running around the building maintained at ambient temperature.
The system uses the Applied EWYT~B- and EWYT~CZ as a central air-source heat pump to maintain
the temperature of the ambient loop. This means the Daikin Altherma WS can ensure heating /
cooling comfort, sanitary hot water and individual temperature control to the individual dwellings.
This system can also be completed with a wide and flexible range of Daikin emitters, underfloor
heating, heat pump convectors or radiators (non Daikin), which allows free choice of the most
appropriate solution for the project.
As the system distributes energy around the building at near ambient temperatures, heat losses
commonly associated with communal heating systems are all but eradicated. Not only does this
save energy but also greatly reduces the risk of overheating
